Looks like they've put it on hold at about 361. Didn't drop it much at all overnight. I'm starting to think they are just messing with us. :p

I was up at Big Bear today getting my spot ready. Looked like all the trees had a 6" wet line on'um. I'll tell ya... It might help the fish'n a little if ya can folllow the creeks. The fish had moved up in the flooded brush where ya couldn't hardly get to'um. They'll have to pull back out.
When ya got lemons make lemonade. Figure out how to use this falling water. I think if a guy gets in the back of a bay & gets on a creek channel and follows it out spider rig'n, he'll run into some fish. They're gonna get in them channels & back out as the water dictates.
That's my plan as soon as I get my camper moved.

I hope they don't suck the bottom out of it, but in the past they pull it down and let it slowly rise to summer pool. I think Whiskers already predicted this though. Heres a photo I took at Smithland Monday, I'd guess a crew change. He's close to 40' higher than pool.
Wiskers, I'll be at Malcolm Creek on the 2nd of April. Maybe I'll see you on the water. If you see a a tracker Tundra with a walk through windshield say hello.

Isn't this fairly typical for this time of the year? I have been coming down to the lake around the 1st week of April for quite a few years. Last year it was flooded and the lake dropped quite a bit just before we got there, the year before I think parts of Hillman Ferry campgound where we stay was flooded at the end of March and the water was still falling when we got there. I actually think it's been pretty much the same forthe last 3 years.
I think Wiskers advice is excellent. Folks those fish are still there and as Wiskers said, look deeper. I'd be looking in the 8'-15' debth. Keep moving they got to be there somewhere.
I know its tough when the water fluctuates, they've dropped our local lake over 20' in the last week. Unfortunaley its all coming your way.
