    Unhappy Here it comes!

Yall remember that post I made about the Tn. River System being in pretty good shape & we should be ok on Ky lake level? Weeeeeell, that all changed with this last monsoon! Here comes the high water. Tn. river system got loaded in last 24 hrs. + the Cumberland system is loaded. The corp is gonna haveta hold some water in a few days to help out on the Ohio. I'm guess'n with no more heavy rains 363 at least. That's just my gut.

Yeah, I been watch'n the river stages. I just got off the phone with a buddy that's work'n up on that end. He said the Cinn. bridges are HOT! Anytime you get over 40' there she's slick. The USCG has already cut back on tow sizes. Glad I ain't up there. This Cumberland is bad enough.

I stopped by the foster ramp yesterday and the water was at the tressels edge. I did get 4 tires for the truck and a couple of pill bottles and a flip flop. Maybe on the next flood I can get the other flip flop. One thing I did notice at the ramp there was a truck and trailer there and they were out checking there spoonbill nets. Hope they got in safe, I also drove past meldahl and the access road for the fishermen was under water. Snagg Creek ramp looked do able yesterday but I dont know about now.

See, Sixfin and the fellas had to poke and prod Ole Wiskers and now he says the flood waters are comin. Can anyone say Moses? Maybe we can get him to dip his fishin pole in the lake and turn it into wine!!!
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!
