It may be slid forward some from where it is now. I haven't sat down on it with the rod holders in place to check the knee room on this setup. I was just looking at how far back I could potentially go with this setup but from past experiences, it will most likely be fairly close.

I don't know about running down the lake (it will either be anchored or sitting in the floor for that if I am running very far). I haven't had the boat in the water with this setup yet so the first trip will be the shakedown run for it.

CP, it's a 17' boat as it is.. :D It just tapers so quickly because of the hull design that there's not a lot of room up there.

I'm telling you guys though, this thing is a lot more stable than it might appear to be in the pictures. I was somewhat surprised, actually.

CF is going to look at it at some point and we will collectively figure something out.
