    Cool Here's the pictures

Yall wanted pictures. I can't remember the last time I didn't put a keeper in the boat but all I caught was 2 little bass & 2 little crappie. Fished every where from 22' to 10'. The 4 fish I caught were in about 14'. Highest temp I saw was about 37.

Still good to get out though.

    Say it isn't so Wiskers!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Whiskers dont feel bad as i went yesterday and fished for 5 hours and dressed 5 crappie and caught 7 small fish, averaging 1 keeper fish per hour is about as bad as it gets. I will say that all 5 of the big fish came from 14 to 15 feet of water, but i had to just keep aggrevating them until they finally bit. Just wandering if you tried minnows today, i did not stop yesterday and get any minnows but i wished i had and just tried them to see if they would help. All of the big fish i caught yesterday was caught on hair jigs held completely still, tried jigging with tubes and i could not get them to bite them.

Man I put the rainbow in front of them. I tried tip'n with minnows too. Sometimes the best days for fish'n ain't the best days for catch'n.

I think if the lake would stay about where it is & the water temp would come up to 40ish a man could catch a few. I think that shad kill last week hurt us too. When the Gulls are set'n on the water with their bellies full, you know your in for a long day!

Was you on the west side or the east side?

I was fishing on the west side and tried brush from 10 to 24 feet deep and just could not find them, i tried every color in the tackle box and like i said the fish i did catch come off of hair jigs tipped with crappie nibbles, they love those nibbles. Yesterday my graph was showing 38 degrees and i figure they have moved down 25 to 30 feet or more. I know a few years ago i was on Big Sandy and the water was this cold and we caught a lot of crappie at 30 feet deep on minnows with a KY Lake rig. You have more experience than me at this, but how much do you think the water is going to have to warm before they move up and get active again?
