Smithland Sauger Report

Fished Smithland Dam Friday and had several nice sauger. One was 20" and full of eggs. Fished Saturday and had a few small ones with the gates above 35' it gets a little harder to fish.River still rising. Fished Ky. lake for crappie Thursday after I got soaking wet driving stake beds and had a few crappie in 22'. Nice to feel that sun for a change!

Thanks for the update ifish! I have been thinking about trying to catch a few saugers, but the striper fishing has been getting all my attention lately.
