I live in northern kentucky and caught quite a few crappie two years ago on the licking but since then just a couple of dinks. Looking for someone to take a youngin under their wing and teach me what im doing wrong or at the very least point me towards a good lake in the area to figure it out on my own. I know its a tall order but i would really appreciate it i got a 2010 tracker with a 50 and tons of gear just looking for some experience all help appreciated

Head east and try the river tribs in the Meldahl pool or go to Eastfork lake in Ohio. Not much else in our area. IMO
I agree with creek boy and ezgo. You have to put time in the creeks to get to know them. Got to hit them early!!
Thanks for the advise on where to go I Live in wilder in campbell county. If anyone has the time to possibly go with me one day to show me how to fish them i would appreciate it. I have a very flexible schedule. thanks in advance
It would be a long drive but your welcome to go with me sometime.
I mostly fish Green and Nolin lakes
I am certainly no pro, but I usually manage to catch a few![]()
Woody wacker,
I live in rural Camp Co right on the Licking River. I crappie fish the Licking, Ohio River tribs, East Fork Lake, AJ Jolly, Kincaid, Boltz, Williamstown, Bullock Pen, and Brookville Lake. Would be willing to help out. Send me a PM.
