One question: Most everyone said they use hi-vis line. What the main purpose behind that? I thought as you are fishin that you would watch the rod tip and the line would always be tight.

You still need to be a line watcher. Many times the only indication you have a bite is the angle of the line will change.

Oh, I would also invest in a good drift sock.
