    Dont know about now, but Id say its still open with water coming up some the past few days. I was there couple days before christmas to put some brush out and scotts creek down to dam was wide open. Might be still open but Id call the hatchery or corps office, the website only has updated lake level, not temps so not sure how cold it is right now. Good luck if ya go.

    The back of coves has some ice (very Little) but the main lake is clear. Water temp was 38.5
