Green River
I'm thinking about making a pre-Christmas fishing trip to green and was wondering if anyone has been out recently. I am curious to know the condition of the lake, if anyone has any information.
Merry Christmas!!!

lostdog,
I went Tues. 12/21. Water temp varies from 39 to 42. Robinson Creek area has lots of ice. Up in the river toward Homles Bend is a little muddy.
Fish were biting good, however a lot of what I caught were small, 8 inch fish.
I cast jigs. Most of them holding 20-25 feet in 30 plus FOW.
Find wood and the fish bite well, suspend fish I could not catch.
I talked to a guy spider rigging and he wasn't having any luck.
Best of luck to ya and if you figure out how to catch the big ones let me know.
I caught about 6 or 7 small ones for every keeper, but it sure was fun
PS, it is hard to find anybody to go with you this time of year.
I hope to go back a couple days next week.

Thanks for the replies. I went out today and didn't have any luck. I was Kentucky Rigging and couldn't get anything to hit. Only used minnows, didn't try jigs. Fished around Holmes Bend. Water temp was 37-39 and stained, alot of ice in areas. Will give a try again soon, I hope.
Merry Christmas!!
