    Default Barren river report

Fished 11-11-10 and caught fish pretty much from the same brushpiles where they have been all fall. Caught fish anywhere from 7-15ft. deep on minnows.

Fished 11-20-10. Fish were biting well. The wind was horrible. I was on fish early but as the wind picked up I tried to stay with them. That has to be the most wind and rough conditions that I have ever caught fish in. I was wishing I had a seat belt to keep me in the front seat. Luckily the boat never threw me out. I was tightling minnows at about12-14ft. deep on bluffs. Fish are really starting to school up now and you are seeing more fish on one spot. The wind was so bad you really couldn't tell anything by watching your line and rod, I would from time to time just slightly lift my rod and check for a fish. I would have held it but I have a hand held trolling motor. Water temps 54-55 degree's. I think I ended up with about 22 fish early, but had to move due to the wind. Then found a lot nicer calmer spot to finish the day.

Nice bunch of slabs. Sounds like you worked hard for them.
