Anyone fish Green this weekend ? I fished Sunday, same as usual casting jigs 12 to 15 ft deep , brush and the flats.
Caught fish, but nothing like the last several weeks. They just didn't seem to be there.
Just curious if anyone has experienced the same.

Sounds to me like the fish are moving out deeper than the pattern I have been fishing.

Fished Green Sat and a couple of hrs Sunday morning up by Butler Crk. Caught a few Sunday on minnows 20'-25' ~~~`10'-15'- down. Dang sure hot those two days.

Fished green Saturday from 7-11:30, boat traffic and heat got to bad. Ended up with 42 keepers in 22 fow about 17 feet deep on minnows. We'll never get to chase the redear this year it doesn't seem like.

We fished Sun evening, Monday Morning/Evening.. We caught several but only about 5 keepers. We caught alot of fish in the 7-8" range! Of course we are still learning. Using minnows about 12-15' deep off my Bee-Ready Holders. Fishing with David Jones on Sept 4th. We'll see how that goes with it being a Holiday Weekend.
