Weather starting to change. There will less and less pleasure boaters each week. Thank god. It's our turn to use the lakes and rivers. I guess that's why it is to hot to fish in the summer and the boaters get their fun.

The dumb &*( boaters believe you can stop those barges in 10 feet not 1 mile. With a few beers, the game of chicken begins. Think of the poor engineers that drive trains.

The paperwork is a pain but the least of your problems if you have an incident with a PC. The USCG will put you thru the worst crap you've ever seen. We are the professionals and we have to do everything right. 1 mis-que and you can lose your License, your livelyhood, and your freedom. All it takes is 1 idiot in a boat.

I hate Memorial Day, 4th of July (the worst), and Labor Day.

Keep me posted if I can take care of anything while you are out. The pups head to new homes this weekend so maybe I'll be getting some of my life back. I'll be working on the items we talked about. Take care and watch out for the "lake lice".

Anybody interested in going out to dinner at the Catfish Kitchen on Friday evening October the 8th? Great food.
