I will likely be there at least one day/evening for a cold brew or two and some hot lies! LOL! Are you guys planning on any kind of small tournament? On that end of the lake you guys will smoke me! If not, a good meal and some fellowship will work as well. Probably hit Wally World on the way in for some tater salad or something like it. Do you need me to pick up anything special?

I just got off the phone with Whiskers and we are planning a very informal tournament Saturday morning Oct. 9. I am glad you are going to make it. Been wanting to meet you and tell a few lies.Be sure and bring some HIP WADERS. We are going to have a pot luck Friday with some Deer Stew,Crappie Chowder and maybe some kind of meat off the smoker. Tater salad will be great. We are haveing a fish fry Sat. Night we hope with fresh fish.Come on down!!!

Glad you're gonna join us. There will probably be a few brews throwed back. Look'n forward to see'n everybody.

I should have a few days to locate us some fish. I have some good friends that are pretty good fishermen that will probably already have them cornered by the time I get home though. Rumor has it that the Blacks are already shifting to the bays.

I'll share some waypoints so everybody is fishing & not just looking. I'll also have my computer & the Hydrographics stuff so folkes can do some computer scouting if they want to. What ever it takes. I want everybody to have fun and catch fish.

I may get to come down fri and sat. is there rooms to rent close by ?

Went today. Fished out of Big Bear and hit some new stuff. I didnt catch any keepers but I had a few dinks, yella bellies and a few bass. The water temp has come up a few degrees since the last time I was out. My depth finder was showing 80 - 82.

Rowdy, I know Big Bear and Moors have cabins. Malcolm Creek and King Creek may. There is also a hotel in Draffenville and a few in Calvert City.

We have a cold front coming thru sunday and the temps should drop. Caught a dink on a roostertail in about 8 foot of water. Green carp moving shallow too!!!
