Dont feel bad, I was on em' pretty good all last summer and now, I cant get a single shad to come around in the last couple times out. Im still catching fish but not the size and frequency you get when the shad are around. I tried different areas that usually produce around beaver and also around zilpo/alfrey area. Water and temps are right, I think the high water and lack of grass has fish doing different things this year. Im gonna go again if I can get off work but Ill let ya know if I start getting into them GOOD. Good luck, hope ya catch some.
