We weren't but we were within hearing distance. BTW, if you guys decide to start throwing fish at each other, wait till we're in quackrs boat.

That's why I got a boat with spray liner in it. One trip through the carwash and it looks brand new again.

Sounds like you guys are having a lot of fun down there catching those whites. An oldtimer down there showed me an outfit they used to make down there for whites in the jump. It consisted of a piece of "wahoo" ? wood which I would describe as similar to elderberry where it has a pith in the middle that can be pushed out... so essentially you have a float (like a seine float), and then they attached some rig to it and would toss it out in the jumps. My understanding was they would just grab the wahoo and rip the lips right off the fish so as to get the next cast out as fast as possible. A sign of a good day was a bunch of lips in the boat. Don't know if you guys are piling up the lips....but in that scenario.... a car wash might be in order. Your night time fishing sounds a little more orderly than jump fishing where a guy can almost burn up a set of reel gears :D
