Thanks Guys, seems like good people here.

Took the family to Green today for a couple of hours, caught 17 keeps, didn't catch one that we couldn't keep. Most were around 11 - 13 inches with 1 being 14". Caught ours shallow, less than 7' deep.

What area of the lake were you fishing ?? Don't give up any 'spots', just general area (dam, island, river end, main lake banks, whatever you feel comfortable telling). What was your bait of choice ?? I've always done good with 1/16oz Marabou Roadrunners, and 1/16oz jigheads w/tubes. Usually fished around Goat Island, casting right against the bank & slow retrieving back. Goat Island is especially good on the Emerald Isle Marina side, from the cut thru around to the other end of the island.

Sounds like the big ones are finally making their move. Green has got some good Crappie in it, and now is prime time to find them !!
