I should be launching at Moor's mid morning tomorrow. Be in a Tracker 16' sportsman, all by myself.

    Good luck!

    Mavs,
Good luck! Save some for me next week!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

That's an understatement Rowdy. Man did it get windy! Not great numbers but caught some bigguns! Close to the bottom in 12 - 18 feet of water. Roadrunners and minnows drifting over cover.

    Default Sorry

I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you. I was up at Big Bear working on my camp site all day Saturday but had no way to contact ya.

I culled down to a limited of big Whites on Friday and Sunday. Fish were in 16' of water. Couldn't get on the Blacks with the falll'n water. Friday was real good fish'n but terrible wind.

    I apologize for our weather.

I fought the wind all day today to end up with 10 keeper blacks, a couple real nice yellow PERCH and some yellow stripes. I couldn't stay on any deep cover due to the wind but ended up throwing minnows under the ol' bobber for all the fish. Most were in 6-8 feet of water 3-4 feet down. I normally keep the minnow moving by twitching or slow reeling. Today it seemed they wanted it in their face for a while before they would bite. The 12-14 inch buck bass drove me crazy!!

By 4 pm the lake was rolling those 4-5 footers. Time to go when that starts. I did lose a monster crappie right at the net today, biggest I have hooked in a long time. I would guess close to 16-17 inches and 3 pounds. I thought it was just one of those 1 pounders that I tend to swing into the boat. Once I got a good look at it, I started trying to net it and it pulled off at the net. I know where she lives!
