Default Well, nothing left but the Crappie!

Disappointed, March Madness is officially over for our Wildcats tonight. It was an exciting season, hate to see it come to an end. Hat's off to West by gosh Virginia, their team played with a lot of heart and just flat out beat us.

There is always next year.......for now, look out Crappie!

    Wink I agree, Brad ....

I hated to see them lose. Especially since that leaves Tenn & Duke in the mix :o

But, I'm proud of them, too .... for a exciting season, and for bringing KY back into the limelight. We got a SEC Championship, all the way to the Elite Eight, a #1 seed in the NCAA brackets, a #2 overall ranking, & a 30+ game winning season ... and all with a new coach & a handful of freshman players. And this is just Year #1 of the "post Billy G" era :p

The Big Blue Nation is back on track !!

I understand the concept .... but, I just wish that our guys weren't so set on being "one & done" & heading to the NBA. Look at what's happened to so many NBA stars/players !! With no degree to fall back on, money mismanagement, drugs, etc ... alot of them are in dire straights. Big money/fast money ... in the hands of someone that's never had to deal with it, or knows how to manage it ... can be a recipe for some serious problems.

I just hope our boys do well, and wish them luck in their futures. Thanks for the great season, guys !!

Yep, pretty good rebound. About the best season we've had since 98. I'm proud of the boys. I really believe Bledsoe and Cousins will come back for 1 more year. :D Wall and Patterson are outa here.

I really believe it was Tubby that took us from a dynasty to mid major level program in the 10 years he was there. Billy wasn't there long enough to do any real damage.

The High light dvd from this year could be longer the 1 made of the previous 10.

Definitely a great year for the CATS, from NIT to NCAA Elite 8, no growling from me.

I think there should be a 2 year rule for basketball, just like for Football, before you can go pro.

I personally think that everyone, the Freshmen of course, could only help themselves with another year of school. especially Cousins, Orton and Bledsoe.

Wall is tough, but sometimes I'd rather take Cousins with the #1 Pick than Wall.

But 2, I'm sure Coach Cal will reload with some more great players, but they'll expect to be one and done too.

Very proud of the CATS this year, great season overall. I follow my team with a passion, and do not usually complain about losses. I feel in every way, that the Refs took UK completely out of the game.

After being given a free ride to 4 years of collage to play basketball, or any other sport for that matter, these guys that quit after 1 or 2 years should have to pay for the time that the school spent on them. Maybe some of them wouldn't jump ship so fast. JMO.

Locator79, I totally agree, the CATS lost heart after the refs called it. They couldn't have won, the refs wouldn't let them.

I'd like to have seen at least 1 game, where when everyone jumped on Cousins' back, they called a fall. He never got the calls he deserved, they hounded him all year and nothing.

The wildcats did have another great season. They have a lot of potential for next season.

I wanted Murray State to win, but maybe next year.:D

But Kentucky residants have a lot to be happy about, we have some of the best hunting and fishing in America available here in Kentucky.

So while those other states are chearing on their sports teams, we are going to be here in KY catching big Bass, and big Crappie.
