I am proud of our team, and our coach! It is a blessing to have someone that understands the desire, drive, passion, and dedication it takes to be part of the "Big Blue Nation"!!

Unfortunately, the basics of basketball let these young men down. Our freethrow percentage all year has been like gambling in Vegas! Later in the year, the boys started moving around more and operating the offense. I AGREE, the officiating in the last two games SUCKED!!

But if you took half of the 3 point attempts back, and played them as a "dribble drive offense", and we made half of those as straight up 2 pts, we would have won the ballgame.

If we have had made half of the missed free throws, we would have won the game.

All in all, I wish for Big Cuz, Bledsoe and Miller to stay. If Patterson would stay around, it could be magic! Wall needs to open his eyes to what these pro's have done to their finances, and at least get a 2 year degree. If they were all to stay and Patterson leave, plus the recruiting class!!!!!! Watch out, next year could be absolute destroying of teams!

Can you imagine a year off with Calapari guiding these guys in the gym, weight room, and making them shoot 50 freethrows before class everyday???

    Come on Midnight Madness!

Scholarships are on a year to year basis. Nobody gets a free ride for 4 years unless the earn it. If you play for one year, the school only paid for one year. All sports or academics work this way.

I agree, free throws and bad shooting cost us the game. But the officials were not going to let it happen anyway. I saw 5 or 6 straight possesions where our guys got knocked to the ground, and then they would call a touch foul for anybody in a Kentucky jersey who went for the ball. I have watched the game twice, and if watch the game away from the ball, that was one of the most one sided games I have ever seen since I have been following basketball.

The Cats had a great season, but I'm still bummed out. If Duke loses today, I'll feel much better! :D
