    When you guys use a slip float and jig/minnow combination do you always use a stop to set your depth? Do you just keep adjusting your depth and location till you find the fish?

    Yup pretty much, if not using a stop might as well take the float off.

    I know some guys that like to "peg" their but i always use a stop. Figured if I was gonna peg it might as well just use the spring type.
