    Talking Lookie What I Found

Well me and a buddy were gonna go fish'n today. Got up it was raining & wind blowing. Talked it over and decided not to go.

Sat around the house till about 10 and told myself "self, you've fished in worse weather than this." So I decided to go on a little scouting trip with the SI. :D Did'nt even call my buddy. I knew he'd feel obligated to go and he'd be miserable. Angel (my Lab was). I got soaked to my underwear but look what I found! :D

20 crappie & 1 yella. All but 2 were just schoolers say 10 1/2" to 11". Had 2 that were pretty good fish. Had to dig'um outa the brush piles. Tuff fish;n with the wind. I lost 5 goodn's and probably thru back as many as I kept.

Very nice BUD! You always put a whoopin on their butts! I think you felt bad cuz I got soaked yesterday. MISERY LOVES COMPANY!

    Chucky, I'd put a red/chartreuse or bubblegum/chartreuse on...but that's just me!

Great catch Terry, now that's what I'm talking about and you remind me of my late father w/ the "self" comment. He always would say, "and I said to myself, self" Great memories.

    Thanks!

Caught those on the Bobby Garland Electric Chicken. I figured after the cold front they'd want something with very little movement. It worked! :D

    Very nice.

Now you've made me feel bad for being a couch potato all afternoon. I couldn't bring myself to spend another day in that cold wind and rain and this fireplace has felt way too comfortable all afternoon.

Had to go out and find us some fish for Thursday.

I DVR'd the game. Everytime I'd answer the phone the first thing I'd say is, "Don't tell me who won the game!!!" :D Wife and I watched it after I got home. I thought she was gonna have a heart attack.

Somethin special about this bunch. I ain't ashamed to wear blue anymore! :D Tubby and Billy bout broke me!

    I give ya a call.
