Love to make it. But I am taking the wife to Weiss for a week....

myself, my dad , and my son ,would like to join the party, im a newbe to the forum , but like to drown minnows in the sun, can we join up with the fry ? where are local reasonable places to stay, bait,---we will be there friday early afternoon for some lake exploring-----thanks greg clark--indianapolis

Me and a friend may come down. I will not know until after this weekend. My friend's wife is ill and it depends if she gets better. Hopefully I still will be able to come and find a friend to share expenses. Will be coming from No Ky area. Look forward to meeting you all.

The Holmes Bend Marina & Campground should have everything you need ... check them out on the web, for available lodgings & prices, etc. Don't know if they sell fishing licenses, so you're best bet is to stop at a Wal-Mart on your way.

Guys ,I met with Eric Cummings, the fisheries biologist for Green River Lake yesterday. We had a good visit and he took time to mark my map with a few locations where they have dropped cedar trees. Said water temps there were still lower 50's.

I hope the warmer weather forecast for the end of the week keeps hold so those temps will be on the rise.

I'll try to get some Intel from David Jones as well, so maybe we can have an idea of how deep the fish are holding by the time we get there.

I'm going to throw a little twist into this "get-together" :D

I'm fieldtesting a couple of new rods. Matter of fact, I just got them (UPS just delivered them, while I was posting :p ).

I'm going to have them rigged up & usable, and fish with them during the get together. I'll show them to ya'll ... to get your impressions, opinions, & feedback. I'll try and answer any questions I can ... but, since these are brand new on the market, some information may not be available just yet. But, soon as I get a chance to try them out & show them around ... and get the missing info ... I'll be posting about them, on the site.
