... to get any last minute supplies/food from the Holmes Bend store ;)
No one is required to bring anything, to fish the get together ... it's strictly voluntary. BUT ... if anyone "wants" to volunteer to bring these items, or any other items they deem necessary for the cookout, then ... post it here, and I'll add your items to the preparations list. ;)

If there is anything else let me Know by Thursday night. We are going down
Friday morning and staying till Sunday. We will be at Kenneth's (Green river bait and groceries) Sat morning for our manditory breakfest and coffee:D. It says meet at 7:30 - 8:30 am. But is that lexington time or Green river time. They are a hour behind there? Also, where at Holmesbend do you all meet at. I know where everything is but do we park our boats in the parking lot and then walk to meet everyone at the picnic shelter? If you need to talk to me my cell is 859-509-4126. Thanks good luck to all.
Ill be down friday evening... Ill be at green river marina at my houseboat there but plan on coming to homesbend sat morning to meet everyone... Looking forward to meeting everyone
do you think the cold front will shut down bite for fri, sat----or does this not affect crappie as much as other species ? or will it drive them out of coves to deeper parts of lake---- ive never fished ky lakes for crappie-------thanks
The rain they are calling for Thursday should be a warm rain and not a cold rain. Even tho Green river is a lake it is more of a river lake to me. If the crappie do move it should not be much. I have not heard much about catches in real shallow water next to the banks. We are fishing in 12ft to 25ft water. We will be down and fishing Fri-to Sun. Good luck to all.
