Default Comin down to try again!

Went to KY Lake 2 years ago on easter weekend. The air temp was 51 when we got there and that was as warm as it got. 2 days later, it was 36 with 20 - 25 mph winds! Went home early. Gonna try again. Goin down Thursday and satyin trhu Monday. Staying at The Moors. Will try to fish Bear Creek area mostly. Any tips on that area would be greatly appreciated. May trailer down to Jonathon also. You still fishin around there Old Guide?

If anyone is going to be down there at that time, let me know. We can get together for a cold one or two and tell fish stories!!!

Thanks for the tip. I am not set up to spider rig. I usually vertical jig, slow drift/troll, or use bobber & jig. Are you talkin 7' around brush piles or just movin around at 7' depth?

Following the 7 ft contour line....

Fish usually come around brush ,stake beds, etc...

If they're bitin on the shallow side of the boat...I stay in 6-7 ft...

If they're bitin on the deep side of the boat...I ease my boat out a little deeper and follow a deeper contour line....Different depths for different occassions...I let the fish tell me where they are....

I just generally start for the day following the 7 ft contour line when the water temp is 55 degrees...
