My #1 jig on KY lake has been for the last 2 years a Pearl 3/32 curley tail jig 3" long. My 2nd is a 2 1/2 inch curley tail green,<kentucky lake green> 3/32 oz..I would prefer to use a 1/16 roadrunner jig if they are on the spawning banks but the wind is always a factor. Because I throw 2 1/2" to 4" grubs I make my own jigs with larger hooks.Ky. lake is my fave. lake because of the good quality size of crappie.
