I usually have good luck in June for the crappie. But the river is still too muddy right now. That ole dirty water from the river is messing up the creek fishing here on Smithland Pool 
. Hopefully it will stop raining soon. Once the water drops out, the fishing should get good for the rockfish and hybrids down here at Smithland.
