That jig wasn't mine..........do like that color though!!
Man, that water is like glass, sure makes it hot when there isn't any breeze. You do any good, size wise, back there?

[QUOTE=Sandguy;2433592]Nice job, guys. Thanks for the report and photos. It's certainly tempting to get away from the whiskered fish and chase some slabs....for a day or two anywayHow far above the water line was the prop blade?[/QUOTE
out 8-10
About 8-10" above water.

It was tough today. 4 keepers 14" biggest. 3" slab slay'r tipped with stubby steves. Barometer has been steady with no breeze not my favorite.

Wonder if the pattern is starting to play out, falls just around the corner and the fishies may be on the move.
Agreed, not a favorite of mine either, high sky's and all.
That photo reminds me of a prop blade stuck in a tree on Hillsdale with the sharp end up. I tried to pry it out so a boat hull would not be sliced open when the water raised up just above the blade. Not being successful at removing the blade I contacted the DWP with the gps coordinates so they could deal with it.

The swivel is the big clue on who's jig that is.

Fear me all ye that dwell beneath the waves
All right, fess up.........I'm not in the loop.
The tree bite is slowing way down, went this morning for a bit and had 5 keepers. The guaranteed fish spots are no longer guaranteed. Oh well, they got to be somewhere so time to start searching. Got to work tonight, it's bedtime for me. You all have a great weekend.
There's no more fish left in that spot. I've caught them all.
Welcome to the board Tat...look forward to some Clinton posts![]()
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!
