Im not sure the tail needs to be pinched, the couple times I've been checked,, they just swiped the tail back and forth. I've been told that as long as the mouth is closed and the tail touches the line, it's legal.

We can ask the Bio to chime in if you really want to know how to measure a fish. It doesn't hurt to get a reminder every now and then....

I'm not sure either, I was just being a smart*ss, which sometimes I'm good at, and sometimes I'm not!
