When you measure your fish, the mouth needs to be closed..
And pinch their tail together!
Im not sure the tail needs to be pinched, the couple times I've been checked,, they just swiped the tail back and forth. I've been told that as long as the mouth is closed and the tail touches the line, it's legal.
Annd most important, this is for FUN.
