Thread: Wilson Lake

My family will be camping at Wilson Lake the last week of June. I'm thinking about getting a guide for either crappie or walleye. Does anyone have a suggestion? Are there any areas that I could catch some crappie from the bank that time of year? We will be camping at Minooka Park.

Don't plan on catching many crappie, not many in that lake. Better luck with Walleye and Stripers.

If you are talking about Shane of Hooke Em Guide Service. I talked to him via e-mail and he recommended that I ask on here. Is chatt the username?

Found crappie chatt. I'm guessing that is who you are talking about. I will send him a pm.

I dont mean to hijack your thread, but has anybody heard if there are any smallmouth or walleye being caught at Wilson. A couple of buddies and I are planning on taking a 2 day trip out there next week to target smallmouth.
