waypoint help

[kcsportsman]

I bought a new to me boat earlier this year. I am not very good with depth finders as this waypoint stuff is all new to me. I registered my 597 ci HD and down loaded Humminbird PC. Humminbird gps format are different than the listed hillsdale brush piles. Can anyone help me on how I go about putting these positions in? Thanks Matt

If memory serves ;
Pull up hbpc , click on new file , name it and click on the + to its left , the waypoint screen will pop up empty , click new waypoint in the tool bar and a blue row will pop up. Its ready for your info bp and the # could be a description and the period in you coors will be the degree symbol in hbpc.
put a card in your pc and then use the download from pc to card prompt and load the card.Now put the card into your unit and import info. I think you can add or overwrite if you prefer.
