Default Prognosis for weather this winter....

After having such a mild and "wet" summer anybody have thoughts on what this winter will be like? Some people I talk to thing we will be in for some serious snow and ice. After going through so many "different" summers and winters I am now of the opinion that there is definitely a correlation between the two. On another note...I haven't read or heard about much algae bloom this summer??? Haven't fished much this year but am looking forward to winter fishing.

    Thoughts?

Fox News seems to do fairly well on the long range forecast. He was right on last winter as well as this summer. He is watching a strong El Niņo this fall but won't have enough pattern until mid October .
God bless Charlie Brewer and Bobby Garland.

if its like most winters if I get a chance to go fishin' the wind will be blowing 20 mph and gusting 30 with a driving sleet and snow. If I have to work inside it will be 50 and light wind.

Actually one time I did fish in the first conditions on Kentucky Lake.....it was rough....but the fish were bitin'

I'm pretty soft these days though so I vote for a mild winter..do we get to pick?????

I think I read that the farmers Almanac is calling for colder than normal with more snow then normal. I do not think I will look that up just do not want to know. I vote for 50 and 60 degree light wind. Lots of sun. Bury head in snow drift wait for spring,

I am hoping for cold, snow, and a new cold front every 7-10 days. I am ready to hunt waterfowl.

Have seen those kind of temperatures in Jan (50-60's). I also remember those days being TOUGH.
