Low tire pressure is the cause of a good portion of trailer tire failures. Another problem is those who do not maintain the bearings in the trailers. All it takes is a little time each month and the tires and bearings will never let you down!
Another problem I see is those who pull trailers way too fast. Most trailer tires are rated for no more than 60-65 MPH and yet I see a lot of "important" folks pulling at 75 or 80 mph. Slow it down and pay attention to the speed limit on the tire!
