A buddy of mine had a blow out yesterday on the way to Branson yesterday and totaled his boat. The guard rail almost cut the boat in half. Always check your tires.

Low tire pressure is the cause of a good portion of trailer tire failures. Another problem is those who do not maintain the bearings in the trailers. All it takes is a little time each month and the tires and bearings will never let you down!
Another problem I see is those who pull trailers way too fast. Most trailer tires are rated for no more than 60-65 MPH and yet I see a lot of "important" folks pulling at 75 or 80 mph. Slow it down and pay attention to the speed limit on the tire!

That's a really bad day there. Pretty sure I've met Mike before on a group trout fishing trip at Taneycomo several years ago, looks like the boat he had down there too. Hopefully nobody was hurt.
