Fished this afternoon 15MAY and saw guys catching and keeping small ones at the Military marina. I tried several other places trying to duck out of the wind....found some crappie suspended in about 23fow and caught a couple, difficult to hold on station witht he wind and spot lock is not exactly "spot Lock".

GOOD LUCK on that not happening.You know I think using it is helpful. With that said.......I am very careful to not turn a fishing trip into a Side Imaging trip. I can see where if you are not careful you could end up just riding around "looking" for that great spot on your electronics. I try to keep in mind that SI is a tool but the fish get in the boat by actually fishing with line in the water and Not Side Imaging.
This is just me....but what do I know
