    Default Mapping Software

What kind of waypoint management and mapping software are most of you using. I am going to pull the trigger on one and was curious as to which you guys preferred. Right now I am leaning towards Dr. Depth but Fugawi is also in the running. Any opinions appreciated. Thanks.

Are you running Lowrance Units? If so you might want to look at the new Insight Genesis. Mapping - LOWRANCE | Marine Electronics

Shane, I am running 2 LCX25C's as dedicated GPS units. I am running 2 Elite 7's as sonar and DI. I will be running a structure scan HDS 5 as a dedicated side image unit when i find a used one. My 25's are getting full of waypoints and will start dropping some of them if not already done so. I had talked to lowrance about the insight but was confused as to the part about mapping. I thought they said that after you created a map, they would sell you an encrypted version. Was trying to avoid ongoing purchases when i get to the mapping part in the future. Right now i am just wanting to get started in managing the waypoints by lake name and saving them to a card but have some sonar recordings also. Hope that makes some kind of sense, not sure if i explained it correctly. Thanks.
