Checked out a couple of spots after work tonight hoping to find safe ice one last time before the 70% chance of 40 degree rain( they are predicting for Thursday) melts it all away, but no luck, everything was soft! I did manage to get out on the ice and walk around a bit but I just wasn't getting a warm and fuzzy about it and decided I would lean to the side of safety and call it a night!

On a brighter note: The boat is ready for some open water fishing on Friday!!!
