    Default Ranger 1860

Does anyone fish the ranger 1860? Ive been looking at them and wondering how well they handle and stay over brush? Also looks like a good layout for trolling cranks. Also has anyone seen the new mecury 150 four stokes run?

My brother runs an 1850 and loves it. I've not been on a 21ft deep V glass boat yet (Shane's old Champ is as close as I got), but his is the driest, smoothest that I've been on yet. His 1850 has a load of room in back with the 2 back seats out, I'm sure the 1860 is better. He runs the 150 Yami 4-stroke and it does well. That motor is sure quite compared to our old merc 2-strokes.

He usually fishes walleye trolling (spinners or cranks) and it handles really nice (terrova up front of course). Haven't fished much brush with it yet, but I'm guessing it does fine staying in brush with the proper TM.

Not sure if you have kids or you do any skiing yourself, but I'm a smaller guy, and it pulls me slalom skiing nice. It has some trouble getting him out of the water, but he's ~200.

He looked around on the net for about 6 months before he found one used in great shape for the right price.
