It was a miracle. Somehow the car took no damage except for smashing the front license plate and license plate cover. Just enough "give" in the bumper, I guess... The body of the bird hit there, and then it rolled/slid up the hood and over the top. A quick carwash on my way home, and it was like nothing ever happened... I told her about the bird, but probably didn't mention the speed I was driving at the time... I was an honest kid, but I knew when to keep my mouth shut.

@ crappiedoc, I think I was called to be the grim reaper of fat turkey vultures, but that job doesn't pay... Seriously though, the taxi thing is just a hobby. It doesn't pay the bills either. But I enjoy it and I do a nice job.
