Went out trolling yesterday at eldorado. If I was under 2.5 I caught channel cat. Over and I caught white and walleye and 1 wipper.

Good job Don and I like hearing about those higher trolling speeds since my rig won't go slower than 2.6 mph....it looks like you have learned how to catch those walleys from Shane....I'm needing some lessons

WTG. Sounds like you got your boat back or you hitchhiked a ride with someone. I still owe you a fishing trip out of my boat, if we can make it to the lake. haha

Made it out yesterday evening to El Dorado on the spur of the moment and did some jigging and trolling. Originally planned to go out Tuesday evening, but scrapped the trip when the weather radar made it look like El Dorado was going to get rain all evening. Two hours later, the storm was quickly falling apart. So last night they forecast scattered storms, we'll one was scattered right on top of the lake. Sprinkled for a while, then flat out poured for about 5 minutes then was clear the rest of the evening. Fish bit before and during the rain, but seems to slow up majorly afterward. Picked up white bass and wipers trolling and jigging spoons. Walleye were fewer but caught a couple good ones. Largest was 24in. Biggest came off a point on a sexy shad crankbait.

hope to be headed out early saturday morning before the lake gets crazy. (eldorado) the fish might not be ready but looking forward to 60degree morning. open seat if anybody interested to do a little trolling-jigging if we find them. start about 6 end around noon.
