    Default Livewell Problems

I have a 2001 Lowe FM165 and the livewell is basic water in by the pump and water out by gravity or over flow. The pump is not working on automatic or manual. Light is on, on the dashboard. I hear a distinct clicking coming from under the dash, similar to the sound and speed of car hazard lights blinking. Fuse looks good and when I pull the fuse the clicking stops. I don't think it is my pump. Or once I stop the clicking noise, then I will consider replacing the pump. I really can't pinpoint the clicking when I get down under the dash. Anyone have any suggestions or recommend a boat mechanic/outfit who can look at it. I live in Topeka. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I am assuming you checked the connections up under the dash.

I would mail order a switch off ebay and replace it first then move on to the pump if that does not fix it.

Mo, take the top cover (red top probably) off your pump and check for debris, fishing line etc. sounds like what happened to me once before on my tracker. Pulled some junk out of there that was stopping it from turning and once I did that all was good again.

Thanks for responses. All wires under dash are tight on fuse panel and switch. I will look in the pump to see if anything is blocking the pump from working. Will post results.
