The current fee is $30 for three years, which is the maximum allowed by law. Raising the cap would allow future increases if deemed necessary in budget planning. More money out of our pockets.

One nice thing going on there is a bill out there that will allow boats to be assessed at a lower rate so the tax on them will be lowered, that would be great.
