Thumbs up Out Of The Past

Going thru some old stuff and found this ..

A youg guy that worked for me back when .. had this vise in a kit he bought for fly tying ... decided he did not want to continue with tying left it with me.

I know I must have some use for it ???

Looks like one I picked up at a garage sale once, I think, don't have it no more. Some people on here collect them and maybe could give you more info on what you have.

Only thing I used mine on before I got rid of it was to hold hooks to solder onto blades.

Okay here's the info on the vise and YES it is a vise. The worth company used to put out a jig tying kit and this was the vise that they put in it. My folks actually bought me one of these kits when I was a kid and truthfully the vise didn't work all that great LOL

I think that is why the guy gave up and left it all with me .. I think you are correct that Worth made the kit.

Great vise for taking pics. I used to have one of those around somewhere, don't know if it is still in my boxes or not. Always room for another vise in the collection.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

Thought I saw mine the other day but it was some part I can't remember what it's for, but I know I've seen it in a box somewhere at home.
