Default Soft plastic jig bodies- Pics.

Here are a few jigs that I have made. They are 2" long and the fish just love them.

I have some much like that. I also got some solid large tubes from the same people. I have not used them much at all though ever though I got them last summer. I procrastinate so bad.

It kind of looks like the tail comes from the middle; is that right? The ones I have are kind of cupped where the tail connects to one side. Do the tails get pulled off much?

I kind of like them and the colors look good. Can you make them with 2 colors? I think you are missing one color that is very good and it would be light blue.

Oh I forgot to say one of the hot colors in tubes has been white body and chart tail. Also as far as tubes I think one of the best is blue and white.

Overall I think you are doing a good job.

I can make two color bodies but it is time consuming. I really need a three piece mold for that. I have never had a problem with the tail coming off. I have made other colors, these were just some I had here at the house.

Looking good, you have some Killer colors there, i know they would work around here.
Just curious, did you cut your own mold, or did someone else do it, also what are you using for an injector. THANKS

I had someone else make the mold. It took a lot of programing and hours on the CNC. The injector was a whole different story. It took several weeks and several tries to get it right. It is a big aluminum syringe. I made the clamps for the mold myself. I was using 4 C clamps and now I use only two clamps. Makes it a little quicker. One thing I will say , it is an expensive hobby. But it sure does feel good to catch fish on something you made yourself.
