Just got my order in for flash and it is not want I expected because I guess I went a little over board. Now I did buy a few feathers and other items, but not much. Wholesale it was well over $200 (closer to $300 than $200 ouch) and if you hear me yelling it's my wife skinning me.

Well I feel a tiny bit better after I remembered I got some of the boxes I use for what I call a gift box and they are kind of high since they are really for flies and you know everything that says fly on it is higher. I got 7 of them so that gets me back to just be in boiling water in place of oil, LOL!

It is funny how the mind works some times. I made this order because one of my guys wanted 2 of the gift boxes and I didn't have any so I got his and a few more for next fall since that is when people want them most. Anyway once I got all this flash my mind had converted why I made the order to flash, but I did get a load of flash, LOL!

Well I guess most here have never seen my gift boxes so I will put a pic in here. The story about how these started was the guy I bought my boat from called me and as if I could make him some gift boxes to give his customers that crappie fished and this is what I ended up with. I thought I would never really sell any more than that, but one of my retailers has been getting them ever since. See box below....

Nice gift box. I use small plano (6 one inch square compartment) boxes for gift boxes. Janns or Walmart. I know what it is like to overspend my friend. That is 1/2 the fun of this hobby. My wife watches the checkbook like a hawk too. Been doing it 40 years now. She's a definite keeper.

wait till you make a order and you get a 2ft by 3ft box on the front porch while your at work and you wife bring it in and opens it to see a bill of $1200 and then tell me how she feels about tying jigs...i dont think she let me up from my bench for a month...told me i was going to sit there and tie jigs and not move till i made every penny back or i would be a dead man....
