the only thing I would say is IMHO the feathers add something this can not and that is the breathing action you can get from feathers.

Now on the other hand I think you can catch fish with this and especially bream, but I know of some people that tie jigs using Skirt type material. Try it and if the fish like it better then by all means use it, LOL! After all they are the real critics that count.

I should also add I have some little jig left over from before I started tying that have a silver head and red thread and tiny short skirt material that use to work great. Even the 1/16 oz. were very short so very small looking and good for picky days.

I did figure on the different action, tried one out in our turtle tank and they do stand out kinda stiff looking, but so do alot of small tubes. Tought about running them behind a clip-on spinner while trolling and that would make them slim down and wiggle some. You are right, the fish will tell me (turtle seemed interested), I can't really get out to test stuff for real, everything is froze right now. Didn't want to make 20 of em' if someone tried them and they were a big flop. Thanks for the input!
