Well here are my first Jigs

Ok guys. Here's my first set of jigs. Please don't be too brutal:D. I used a "flytying video" thus the wooly booger/wooly worm style on most of these. I tried using marabou for some too which took awhile getting lined up. I read somewhere on here that you shouldn't trim the ends and I didn't. I think the last one (#10--middle pic bottom right) came out pretty good. What do you guys think? Either way, I'm hooked now and am looking forward to improving. Please tell me how I can get better at this.

Those look real good. Some of us were too embarrased to post our first tie. Jigs and flies are all a part of the same family. They all are bait imitations. Keep at it and prepare to take out a second mortgage on your home as it is a costly addiction.

I've still got one of the first I tied. It's butt U-G-L-Y --- uck!! Still things to learn for me. Keep at it.....

Ol Jonny Boy. Great start. I don't see a single jig there that won't catch fish. When the bite is all but shut down, I always go to natural colors. ole Mike

Well, you are definitely hooked now and those jigs will definitely hook some Crappie for you, especially #2 and #7. Nice job. Give them some fancy names and then go out and teach the crappie a lesson.
