Default What kind of cameras do you all use

I tied my first jigs the other day but due the the small size of the jigs coupled with my sorry camera phone the pictures are way too big and of poor quality. I've noticed many here post great pictures of jigs they've made. What kind of digital camera do you all use?

    Default my camera

Cannon PowerShot A570. Wife says in the $180.00 range. (gulp) Any camera with close-up ability should work fine. I don't recall if they call it micro or macro. ole Mike

I've got a HP 318 I bought off a buddy for $25. Nothing fancy, but it still works and was cheap - after loosing a quality 35mm while out deer hunting (and the photo's which can never be replaced), I wanted something on the less expensive side....

It will take fairly good closeups - if I hold steady and stay a foot or so from my subject....

I really like my Sony H7 Cyber-Shot and it has the Macro setting so you can get close. I have it set on the most pixels that I can. After I get the shot I cut it down for proper internet size.

I have a cannon rebel XT that I take all my pictures with, I don't tie jigs yet (hopefully santa will come thru with the start up gear) but I have taken a lot of macro pictures with it. It's an 8MP so you will need some software to resize the image. It's kind of a pricey camera, but I'm kind of an amature photographer so I thought it was worth the money. I think they start at around $700

    I use a Power Shot A75
It has a macro setting as well as many other settings that confuse the heck outta me. The pics would probably be alot better if my hand was more steady, or if I had a tripod. For now this will do.

I have a 3 year old Sony Cybershot 5mp. I usually set it on 1 mp size pictures. It has a button with a flower symbol on it for close up modes. Easy trick is to take several pictures of what you want and just delete the fuzzy pics. I will sometimes take 5-10 quick pictures of something then delete the bad ones once I have the picture blown up on the computer screen.

I use a Fuji Finepix 500 series. I also use filtered natural sunlight for my baits - I believe this creates the most accurate color reproduction.
