Man Hook Prices are going up fast.

A buddy of mine sells hooks and stuff for fishing. And he told me his hook orders , last week were costing him more then he was charging for them.
Anyone else seeing the priced humping up?
Now this was for the red sickle hooks. And They sure went up in price. I may be buying him out. But if the hook prices are going to go out through the roof. It may not be a god time to b buying a business.
If you were going to stock jig hooks for sale through the internet and stuff. What would be the best size to sell? Most of his sales now are bigger hooks. For catfish and shark fishing, and striper fishing. Stuff like that.

ShilohRed I havent heard anything on the Matzuo but Eagle Claw and mUstad are taking a 15 percent jump in Nov on all hooks,Im sure the others will follow suit.

Well I guess if i buy my buddy out. I will order $1500 or so of hooks before they go up anymore. Then hope they sell.

Your sure right there. I hauled off a trailer load for my father in law. And man it sure brought more then I would have guessed.
Looks like i will know Monday if I will be selling any hooks. As high as they are getting. I may not be able to save anyone any cash. But will not know until I find out my price on them by the 1000.

You want them by the 100's or 1000's? Neither are cheap but the 1000's are a better deal, at least for now.
