Default How about a bucktail roadrunner?

Has anyone tried tying/fishing a bucktail roadrunner? I bought some heads the other day primarily for plastics but thought about tying some also. Anybody tie on roadrunners?

Do you tie a strip of rabbit and make a few wraps or...?

Buck tail makes a nice jig for a roadrunner. Specially with some flash in there.

You can but they can be tough to do with the crane swivel in the way, just have to be careful.

    I tied up a few.
They don't look too bad, I just won't post any pics of them.:D
The heads I bought were the barb type. First one I didn't take the barb off the head.
The few others I tied up, I ground the barbs off first. It is just a little more difficult to tie with the spinners in place too.

I have tied those heads using kip tail and krystal flash.
